really u have a new book coming out? exciting. is it the first in the series? is it for the same audience as the divide trilogy? i'm eager to hear from you! ^^
Hi Neko -
Yes, the book's Called Fury, and it's published on 22nd March by Barrington Stoke. It's shorter than The Divide, and it's set in our world, but some creepy things happen when the Furies of Ancient Greece escape into our time through a crack in an old pot. It's a one-off, not the first in a series, but there will be another stand-alone Barrington Stoke book next year, set in Africa. I like your picture!
that sounds fantastic!
you've heard of Discworld, then? that's what my picture is. it's such a huge pity that Pratchett is dying, isn't it?
I think dying is rather premature. He's told us he has the first signs of a rare form of Alzheimer's, but that he reckons he's got a few more books in him yet. He wants to keep cheerful about it, so I think we should too!
Where is your book Fury set in?
Fury is set somewhere in the south of England. The vault in the story is very similar to one my friends and I found when we were at school. Discovering real secret passages when you're 13 is very exciting, and the book itself is dedicated to one of the friends who did the exploring with me.
